Earth has five continents. Two of them are Asia and America. They are big continents. There are many kinds of people live in both of them. They have differences such as the way of living, culture, mind set orientation and seasons.
Asia is divided into four parts. They are South East Asia, South Asia, West Asia and East Asia. Most countries in Asia still hold in traditional culture such as in wedding ceremony, funeral ceremony, superstition and many more. In Asia, there are still traditional transportation such as becak (Indonesia), tuk-tuk (Thailand) and many more.
Although the way of living in Asia is still traditional, but there are also great places in Asia. There is Bollywood (India); a production house that is famous in the world. There are also Universal Studio (Singapore) and Disney Land (Japan). Asians have unique clothes for daily activities. Generally, Asian people wear simple clothes but the traditional one is more detail and great.
Asians have a group orientation; it means Asian people are sociable. Asia is also rich of culture. Every country has their own culture characteristics. For example, in Japan and Korea; they have a tradition of tea party. It is same in name but different in the way to do and meaning.
Asian still has present and past orientation; it means that Asians focus on what happens at present and past time. Only a few of the Asians focus on the future. It does not mean that Asians do not think about future life at all; it just like Asian does not think about that may be happen in the future such as how to face wars, diseases, disasters and especially Asians does not think about how to improve the technology. The countries in Asia mostly have two seasons. They are dry season and rainy season. However, there are also countries that have four seasons such as Japan and Korea.
America is divided into two parts. They are North America and South America or Latin America. America is a developed continent. America has modern way of living. The people are not traditional like Asians, they have metropolitan lifestyle. They prefer going to club to going to natural sites.
In style of wearing clothes, they are fashionable and they have individualism orientation. They have modern transportation like monorail. They also have a great and famous production house named Hollywood. It is the most famous and favorite production house in the world.
The cultures in America are also great and they are different in every country. For example, there is Samba dance from Brazil, it is a fast dance. The mind set orientation in America is future orientation. The people are competing with each other to have something new or something important to the future. They focus on the technology. They try to find or create a new useful technology. They have a high imagination about the future, even they have prepared about how to face wars, diseases, disasters and many more. Mostly, the countries in America have four seasons. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. However there is also country that has two seasons like Mexico.
Choosing where to live in Asia or America depends on ourselves. Both of them have their strength and weakness. Both of them are also great place to live in. in Asia, you can find so many interesting places and cultures. In America, you can find so many great things that you have never seen before.
